Treat your FHTM business like a real business.Put the effort in and eventually you will see results. There is no shortcut to success. Work on your business consistently a few hours each day and watch your business grow.

Make an effort to go way beyond the traditional ways of marketing. FHTM embraces the traditional way of marketing by telling all your friends and family and then inviting them to meetings and hopefully a few will sign on. To be successful you need to learn how to market and generate leads. Make use of the internet, write articles, participate in forums, create facebook groups, make youtube videos, create a blog and start blogging, create a squiddo lens, do press releases, write classified ads, use PPC advertising. These are just some of the ways you can promote your business and reach more persons in a shorter period of time. Remember that pretty soon you won’t have a warm market and you need to continuously generate new leads to be successful in this business.

Stop building and marketing to the wrong list. Making a list of your family and friends and contacting them won’t make you successful. Chances are the majority of them won’t be interested in your opportunity. You have to know how to generate leads and by that I mean you have to know how to find persons who are interested in your opportunity. You have to know how to generate targeted traffic, persons who want what you have to offer.

Set your goals and create a plan to get there. As with any business you have to have a goal and you have to know how you are going to get there. Just keep plugging away and give yourself a few years to see some true results.
